Boutique, Events & More

Our storefront at 76 South Orange Avenue closes on 31 August 2026. The boutique itself is not closing. From September the shop moves online and event planning comes to you.

The shop has moved online and event planning comes to you. Everything the boutique raises goes back into the foundation's work.

A change to how we work

The shop is moving online

The shop is now online

Our last day at 76 South Orange Avenue is 31 August 2026. What the boutique does carries on without the storefront, and in some ways carries further.

Our storefront at 76 South Orange Avenue has closed. What the boutique does carries on without it, and in some ways carries further.

What carries on

Event planning, in full. Donated clothing, and the vouchers that put survivors into interview-ready outfits. Selling donated pieces to fund the foundation's work. The scholarships, the workshops, and everything on the programs page, none of which ever depended on the shop.

What changes

There is no longer a room to walk into on South Orange Avenue, and no posted opening hours. Items will be listed and sold online instead. Events happen at your venue, or at one we secure for you.

Previous events

We have done this a while

Every booking was set differently, and every one of these was styled and staged in-house. The room changes. The work does not.

The Love You Girl Foundation Boutique, Events and More sign

The sign travels now. Look for it at pop-up shops and community events across Essex County.

Events

We plan it. You pick where.

The boutique has staged birthday parties, fundraisers, bingo nights, and community gatherings, and the planning was always the part that mattered most. Without a room of our own, that work becomes more flexible rather than less.

Small business owners and nonprofits are still welcome to bring us a showcase. If you have something you want to put in front of the community, get in touch.

Enquire about an event

At your venue

Your home, your hall, your place of business. We handle the planning, the styling, and the setup, and you keep the venue arrangements you already have.

We secure the venue

If you would rather not find a space, we will source one to suit the guest count and the occasion. The venue is quoted and billed through us as part of the event.

The shop

Upscale thrift, listed one piece at a time

Everything on the racks arrived as a donation. Most of it still had the price tag on. That does not change because the room does.

Online listings

Donated clothing and accessories, photographed and listed individually. Because every piece is one of a kind, each is listed on its own rather than stocked in sizes.

Event planning

Birthday parties, fundraisers, showcases, and community gatherings, at your venue or one we secure on your behalf.

Where it goes

Every dollar the boutique takes in goes back into scholarships, workshops, and support for survivors. That was true of the shop and it is true online.

Where the shop lives now

New pieces are posted to the boutique's Facebook group and to Instagram as they come in, often before they reach the rail. Join the group to see them first.

What we can use

Clean, current, good-condition clothing and accessories keep the shop stocked. Professional and interview-appropriate pieces are especially valuable, because survivors completing our workforce readiness training receive a voucher to shop with us.

The move online does not change what we need. It changes where it goes when it arrives.

Bringing a donation before 31 August

Please call ahead on 973-568-5732 so we can confirm someone is at the shop to receive it and that we have room for what you are bringing.

Visit before 31 August

The shop keeps its usual hours right up to the last day. If you have been meaning to come in, there is still time, and everything bought there funds the same work it always has.
